- Work closely with senior leaders across our accounting service lines, L&D, and other subject matter experts to coordinate delivery of timely and relevant training programs, addressing PBTA technical training needs by level and market
- Manage national technical training schedule and L&D Budget, ensuring training is appropriately delivered and received by relevant stakeholders and providing regular updates on expense tracking
- Curate and manage a knowledge library to ensure easy access to contemporary training tools by PBTA team members
- Lead national training projects as required, preparing ad hoc project / business initiative reports and status updates
- Significant business services accounting experience, including working knowledge of the Australian taxation regime
- Experience (or demonstrated interest in) managing a holistic technical development program
- Ability to critically analyse technical materials and programs and conduct gap analyses to align with technical competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with key stakeholders on training needs

About this role
A unique opportunity has become available for a National Technical Training Manager to join our collaborative, diverse Private Advisory (Business Services) team.
In this newly created position, you will oversee and manage the creation, delivery, and continuous optimisation of technical training to our PBTA colleagues nationally, ensuring that learning content remains up-to-date, relevant, and tuned into our clients' evolving needs and circumstances.
This role would ideally suit an individual from an accounting background who is looking for a rewarding career development pathway away from client-facing work, in which they can leverage their interest and experience in the Learning and Development (L&D) space.
Key responsibilities
Please note that this role will involve interstate travel to our other GT offices across Australia, up to once every 6 weeks.
