    About your new role:


    As a Payroll Officer, you'll play a crucial role in managing and processing three separate payrolls, including one monthly (Staff) and two fortnightly (Staff and registrars).


    Some responsibilities include:
    but are not limited to;


    • Updating and maintaining employee records, change of employee conditions, salary sacrifice arrangements, and setting up of new starters.
    • Processing quarterly Superannuation payments.
    • Assisting with month-end reporting including preparing month-end payroll journals.

    Handling and resolving payroll queriesAbout You:
    To be successful in this position you will ideally have exposure to the following:


    • Previous payroll experience, ensuring a strong foundation in payroll processes.
    • Desirable experience with payroll software such as ADP, Human Force, or Tanda.
    • Basic proficiency in Excel.
    • Exceptional attention to detail.
    • Effective communication skills, coupled with strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • The capacity to work autonomously and take ownership of projects.
    • A knack for analyzing and processing large volumes of data while maintaining a high level of accuracy and service.
    • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines effectively, both as an independent contributor and within a close-knit team.
