About Our Client

Our client is a leading disability services provider.

Job Description

Process high volume end to end payroll
Processing fortnightly and monthly payroll ensuring accuracy of all entries, fund transfers and compliance to the range of legislative requirements
Liaise with all employees as well as external stakeholders regarding to payroll matters
Assist to post payroll journal into finance system fortnightly and to perform payroll related general ledger accounts reconciliations monthly
Assist to maintain payroll related information and reports
Assist to perform end of year process including reporting for FBT and issuing ATO Payment Summary
Assist to process all WorkCover related wages and to prepare WorkCover documents as and when required
Upload and maintain NDIS information on client management system
Liaise with internal staff to resolve NDIS service booking issues
Process weekly resident EFT payments
Prepare and send out monthly resident trust account statements
Answering customer inquiries regarding resident trust account statements
Be actively involved in continuous improvement projects

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

Minimum 5 years experience in end to end payroll processing
Good exposure to SCHADS awards
Prior knowledge and experience in the Not For Profit industry specifically disability services
Exposure to 2C9 payroll system experience is a plus
Strong attention to details
Excellent teamwork along with good communication skill (To be able to listen effectively, convey and receive ideas, information and direction and to speak read and write in English)
Emotional intelligence, resilience and physical capacity to perform the work required
Positive and can do attitude
