Over the last 24 years, we've worked on a variety of major and high-profile projects across NSW, spanning all sectors.


Some of our projects include hotels, high-rise residential & commercial towers, hospitals, universities, shopping centres, major sporting facilities, data centres and government & defence projects.


The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to support our energetic team with these amazing projects. Ideally, you will have prior exposure to the construction industry and understand how it operates.


You'll naturally be a proactive individual who is organised, shows initiative and has attention to detail, to ensure that our team and projects operate efficiently day-to-day.


This is a diverse role with responsibility for general admin and project tasks, daily allocating & rostering, staff liaison, recruitment and responding to client requirements.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Daily staff allocating and rostering
  • Coordinate project and staff induction requirements
  • Manage allocating system and prepare time & attendance reports for payroll
  • Manage the recruitment process with staff onboarding/offboarding
  • Liaison with site staff and clients for job requirements
  • Coordinate company training & presentations
  • Prepare project safety documents and other admin
  • Maintain database/spreadsheets for all projects
  • Coordinate and take minutes of team meetings
  • Maintain office environment, kitchen & cleanliness, ordering supplies
  • Answering office phone, directing calls, greeting visitors, receiving deliveries
  • Implement initiatives and processes to improve service & quality control
  • Maintain staff records & data on various systems
  • Prepare reports for the management team
  • General administration and team support

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have;

  • 23 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Strong English skills written & verbal
  • Strong IT skills in Microsoft Office 36
  • Grasps new systems easily and is able to create & work within processes
  • Takes ownership of tasks and is proactive & deadlinedriven
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise a changing workload
  • Ability to work well with various people, including listening well and communicating clearly
  • Must be upbeat, flexible, adaptable and a quick learner
  • Problemsolving skills finding & offering the best solutions
  • Embraces a team attitude and always be willing to help out
  • Selfmotivated, strong work ethic, committed, honest and friendly

Salary:
From $60,000.00 per year
