    We have an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer to join our highly rated Government Public & Regulatory practice in Canberra working with Stuart Marris.

    ​About the team and the work

    • The team act for a range of Commonwealth clients in one of the largest and most highly regarded Government teams in the country
    • You will have the opportunity to advise the Commonwealth on a diverse range of administrative and regulatory matters in a fast-paced environment
    • This role will initially be working on secondment (up to 4 days) and with the Sparke Helmore team (at least 1 day) giving you the opportunity to build strong client relationships and be exposed to interesting work
    • The team foster a friendly, collaborative and supportive environment with the opportunity to be mentored by leading Australian government lawyers

    About you

    • You will have 1 to 2 years' experience in a well-regarded Government team
    • The successful candidate will have a solid grounding and demonstrated interest in Administrative Law
