Role

As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in overseeing the end-to-end procurement process, change management and process change, producing guides/training materials and supporting the IT team with implementation of a new software portal.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead the endtoend category management activities across a broad range of goods and services categories, to ensure that optimum procurement outcomes are achieved.
Consult with internal and external stakeholders to manage delivery of category management outcomes.
Support with proposal evaluation, negotiations, and contract awarding, to ensure contracts are managed in accordance with procurement framework.
Provide advice, input, and intelligence on lifecycle management activities, along with agreed progress and planning reporting.
Assist IT department with the implementation of new Purchasing Management system, as well as the rollout of revised procurement policy, procedures, templates to support business awareness and adoption.

Successful Applicants will hold:

Relevant professional qualification (Degree or Diploma in Procurement).
Essential to have financial literacy and reporting skills.
Previous procurement experience of a similar nature
Experience with any major ERP system implementations
Broad range of Category Management experience, strong project management, negotiation, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
