The Role
We have a newly created opportunity to join our Claims function as a Relationship Manager.


This role exists to drive MLC Life Insurance's claim's philosophy, promoting our reputation as market leaders in wellness and recovery service delivery, and ensuring MLCL has the most innovative and customer centric wellness proposition in the market.


In this role, you will drive and manage the effective promotion of wellness, and role-model a positive claims wellness management approach.

You will be responsible for:


  • Enhancing the commitment to the MLC Life Insurance approach across the MLCL business with both internal and external stakeholders, including reinsurers, other third parties, industry bodies and regulators. This includes providing and sharing information and insights.
  • Working with Group relationship management teams to engage and understand the wellness and recovery support needs of specific Group Funds and designated Employer groups and seek to develop solutions to ensure MLCL Claims is a differentiator in the market.
  • Supporting Individual relationship management teams to promote MLCL's wellness and recovery support offerings with Financial Advisers.
  • Ensuring there is a collaborative approach to promoting the benefits of our Mental Health and holistic wellness and recovery support services by developing strong stakeholder relationships with our internal stakeholders.

About You

  • You have an Allied Health Certificate or Tertiary Health qualification.
  • Proven experience in Recovery and Wellness Claims Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Wellness relationship management, or a Public Health promotion role.
  • Experience in the Life Insurance or Superannuation industry is highly regarded.
  • A natural communicator, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder working relationships.
  • Customer centric in your approach.
