Asbestos Labourer/Supervisor

Duties:

Supervision of asbestos labourers.
Efficient planning and coordination of asbestos removal work.
Documenting / reviewing/maintaining paperwork including asbestos removal control plans (ARCP), Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), licenses, and tickets.
Enforcing and demonstrating safe work practices in relation to asbestos.
Ensuring that personnel is adequately trained and supported.
Assist Operations Manager with site operations.
Participate in coordinating the lawful disposal of asbestos / hazardous material waste.
Conducting asbestos removal work in accordance with all relevant legislation and regulations
Safely removing and disposing of asbestoscontaining materials
Performing pre and postremoval activities, including site preparation, cleaning, and decontamination
Preparing and maintaining accurate records of all removal work conducted
Undertaking regular training to keep up to date with the latest practices and techniques in asbestos removal
Maintaining a high level of health and safety awareness at all times
