Talent International is currently recruiting for a
Digital Contracts and Finance Officers x 2 to work for one of our
Federal Government clients based in
Sydney CBD.
The position is 12-month contract role with the possibility of extension
. The role is paying between $50 - $60 per hour + Super.***
Only Australian Citizen.
***7.6 hours per day and 38 hours per week.
Summary of work to be done
As a Digital Contracts and Finance Officer, you will:
- Manage financial processes, including branch financials and internal budget reporting, invoicing, reporting and debt recovery.
- Issue Accounts receivable invoices for several government organisations utilising our panels.
- Reconciliation and monitoring of customer accounts and payments.
- Reconciliation and processing of Seller Invoices.
- Ensure the accuracy and data integrity of contractual information in client's procurement portal.
- Oversight and contract management of legacy ICT Panels as required.
- Complete a monthly report on Central Administration Fee collection for the executive.
- Develop productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Create standard operational procedures for processes completed by the Finance team.
Skills and experience
This role includes Debt Recovery activities and experience in this would be an advantage. You will also have a demonstrated understanding of the PGPA Act and Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
Desirable skills and experience
This role requires an ability to collate, review, analyse and report on large amounts of data.
You will need to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, with an ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes in Government, including Debt Recovery
- Demonstrated ability to learn and use Financial Management Information Software (such as SAP, TechOne, etc).
- Understanding of Contract Management and Procurement
- Good analytical skills with proven attention to detail
- Experience in Microsoft Office suite especially Excel.
- Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written.
