Due to business growth, they are seeking a
Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join their internationally growing team based in
Jandakot, WA.


About the role

Survey projects range in size and scope, with thousands of line kilometres flown on an annual basis on various airborne geophysical technologies in various countries in the Eastern hemisphere.

As a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will participate in the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the aircraft, including repairs, system installation and the implementation of approved aircraft modifications.


Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will rotate between working in the Jandakot office and periodically being in the field.

In the field, you are assigned to a multidisciplinary team of 3-5 members consisting of pilots, operation field technicians, licensed aircraft engineers and geophysicists.

Working collaboratively with your team, you will ensure the functionality of the aircraft and that uptime is maximised.

Some other tasks you will be responsible for are:

  • Ensuring all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with the Maintenance Organsitional Manual, CASA regulations, current legislative requirements and company HSE policies, procedures and processes
  • Certifying company documentation for maintenance work performed
  • Providing proactive input and technical suggestions to improve operational efficiency
  • Providing guidance and training to new recruits, company technicians, Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and junior Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers
  • Managing parts requisitions, spares and inventory management

  • B1.1 Part 66 CASA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence
  • TPE331 and / or PT6A Engine Type Rating
