Our Lady Mercy Place Harris Park is opening in the first half of 2023. We are seeking a Clinical Care Manager who will have clinical accountability for the home. In this role, you will engage with residents and enrich their lives.

As an ageing community, it is becoming increasingly difficult to care for the sick and frail at home.

The newly developed site, Our Lady Mercy Place Harris Park will enable us to better care for and support our seniors and to keep them close within the community, near to their families, their people and their church.

As the Clinical Care Manager, you will provide support in relation to clinical leadership and services in the delivery of care, as well as administration and monitoring of the clinical systems to ensure care is delivered to standard and within role delineations.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that services meet the care requirements of residents and required standards, and make sure revenue through relevant funding is maximised based on assessed resident care needs.

You will also be the escalation point for all clinical matters.

You are a values driven clinical manager, who strives for excellence and ultimately drives a positive care experience.

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous Clinical Management experience in an Aged Care environment and knowledge of relevant legislation

To be successful in this role you must be an experienced leader with a true passion for working in aged care.

Establishing yourself as a respected leader, you will mentor others, provide clinical related coaching and direction to care and nursing staff; you will be a positive, proactive and highly organised individual with excellent communication skills.

With your experience in a similar role, you will have a solid understanding of care management, supporting different levels of care and funding.

You have a good grasp of financial and people management, supporting overall strategic goals.
