$112K - $126K p.a. (+17% super and leave loading)

Why this role matters


A Clinical Teaching Support Manager plays an integral role within Medicine & Health, UNSW, in leading a team of specialists delivering operational and logístical support for clinical teaching within the School of Clinical Medicine across all Clinical Campus / Clinical Discipline(s).

The role reports to School Manager, School of Clinical Medicine and has direct reports.


Who you are:


  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully leading and managing a team with proven ability to motivate and create a positive workplace culture in order to achieve quality outcomes.
  • Proved experience in managing the operations of teaching support, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrated capacity to interpret and implement complex policies and procedures.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
  • Demonstrated success working effectively and collaboratively on initiatives with a range of people at different levels within an organisation.
  • Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
  • Significant experience in developing, delivering and continually improving processes and systems, including project management and change management processes
