ABOUT THE ROLE


We are currently seeking an enthusiastic casual Community Care Extended Care Assistant to join our team at Community Home Care Tasmania South, New Town.

The role duties include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Provide Community Care services for elderly clients living in the community
  • Provide domestic & nutritional support, personal care, social support, transport assistance, appointment support, medication support in consultation with the consumer
  • Provide flexible and individual support that is tailored to the consumer's preferences.

Role Requirements- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Home & Community Care- Current Police Screening Certificate- Demonstrated strong communication skills with the ability to show genuine empathy and support towards residents
