Whether you're experienced in the Education or childcare sector, have done some babysitting, this is the first time you're thinking about working with children, or anything in between, THIS is the role for you


We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Coordinator to take ownership of an existing medium sized service (45 licenced capacity) in Belgrave South.

This is a permanent part-time (29 hours per week) role for those experienced in working with children, dedicated to take ownership of an existing service and passionate about development of a team.

Someone who loves community, building relationships, and working with children on their wellbeing would be a wonderful fit for this service.


Hours are as follows:

Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 09:00 AM ( Rise then Shine Program ) and 03:00 - 06:00 PM ( Stay and Play Program ) plus additional admin hours.

The middle of your day is free, and you can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too


In addition to a competitive salary, there is also a $1,500 signing bonus on commencement plus a $1,500 loyalty bonus at 12 months + split shift allowance + uniform allowance + other benefits + super.

About the role


Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years.

You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.

Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into
Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.
Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management.
Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration.

About the school

Belgrave South OSHClub is a lovely service within a tight knit community.

The service itself has its own room attached to the school gym which makes it perfect for running a range of activities.

The service staff love getting involved with school and community events such as the Belgrave South Fete where they have previously set up their own stalls.

The students enjoy helping run activities and collaborating with the Educators. In the mornings the service will normally have between 15 to 30 students for their Rise then Shine Program, and 20 to 35 for the Stay and Play sessions in the afternoon

Who are we looking for?

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:
Enjoy working with kids.
Strong and clear communication.
Team player with a desire to become a service leader.

Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children.
