Are you an experienced sales professional with a passion for leading and developing teams? My client is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join their team in Sydney by leading and developing a team of external field sales representatives.


The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and developing a team of external field sales representatives in Sydney.

The role includes the provision of customer service, technical support, and sales administration activities to ensure the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeted sales.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Developing an annual sales plan for the region of responsibility
  • Promoting products, services, and solutions to existing customers
  • Leading and ensuring the execution of standard work procedures by the sales team.
  • Developing and executing a cold call plan for the assigned region of responsibility
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Providing technical product support
  • Leading regular sales review meetings and performance reviews with direct reports
  • Recruiting, managing, developing, and motivating direct reporting staff
  • A proven track record of sales experience and market development.
  • Strong technical product knowledge (Can be Pneumatics, Industrial Automation, Instrumentation or similar)
  • 3+ years experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring ability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
