About the role
The Education Administrator Forestry Transition plays a pivotal role in delivering extensive administrative support to the Forestry Transition project.

Collaborating closely with the Head of Department, teaching staff, and other administrative staff, this role entails implementing efficient administrative procedures to aid both educational staff and students throughout their educational journey.

Collaborating closely with a diverse range of departments across TAFE Gippsland, including Client Services and Academic Registry, the Educational Administrator Community Services ensures a seamless and positive experience for the students.

Upholding compliance with legislative and organisational standards is a fundamental aspect of the role, ensuring consistent adherence to established guidelines.

You are proficient and committed professional with diverse administrative capability


You will possess:

  • Proven track record of effectively collaborating with team members
  • Capability to establish relationships and foster collaboration across business teams
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills enabling seamless engagement with both internal and external stakeholders across all levels
  • Demonstrated initiative and adept problem solving abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office suite, databases and student related systems, coupled with outstanding data entry skills

Qualifications and experience

  • Substantial high level administrative experience (at least 3 years) preferably within the education sector would be advantageous
  • Post secondary level qualification in a business administration or customer servicerelated field would be treated favourably
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills Ability to demonstrate initiative and proactive approach

Mandatory requirements

  • Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
  • Current Police Check (no older than 12 months old)
  • Current Driver's Licence (some travel between campuses may be required) 6 months probationary period applies
