About the Role
A 12 month contract opportunity has become available, to join BOQ Group as a Product Owner


This Process Automation function will play a key role in leading and coordinating the execution of the process automation strategy across the Group, with a key focus on reducing current manual processes and increasing automation to help deliver aligned benefits, improve customer experience and risk and control outcomes.

The focus area may be across one or more elements of the Microsoft Power Platform, RPA or other digitisation.

You must be passionate about building great customer experiences, always taking the customers' perspective.

The role requires deep understanding of the user's journeys, pain points and the moments that matter to our customers and Stakeholders.

You are the voice of the customer and ensure stakeholder needs are met.


The impact of the Product Owner's contribution should align to BOQ Group's strategic pillar of creating the cloud based, digital bank with at scale unit costs, impactful data insights and fast innovative solutions.


About you

  • Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, including the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams through change, minimize resistance, and provide guidance in ambiguous situations.
  • Deep understanding and extensive experience with hybrid and agile methodologies, as well as project execution frameworks such as epic and feature prioritization and early value delivery techniques.
  • Ability to comprehend how their team fits into the broader organization and collaborate with other teams to achieve a shared goal.
  • Expertise in fostering innovation, experimentation, and design practices to achieve continuous improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with team members and customers.
  • Proven track record of collaborating effectively with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality products that meet customer needs.
  • Strong experience in product backlog development, management, prioritization, and roadmap creation, with a focus on delivering customer value.
