Position Information


Marsden High School (enrolment 1000 students) is a comprehensive co-educational school with a Support Unit and an Intensive English Centre located within the city of Ryde.

Sixty-five per cent of our students are LBOTE. Marsden has recently experienced a substantial increase in student numbers due to a range of successful programs.

The school is currently experiencing significant growth in students' academic achievement and a strong commitment to the PB4L values of cooperate, achieve and respect.

Our facilities are brand new providing students and staff with a range of teaching and learning opportunities.

At Marsden HS there is a strong emphasis on quality teaching and high expectations across all areas of school life.

Specific Selection Criteria

  • Approval to teach Mandatory Technology and Food technology.
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal, communication and organisational skills with the capacity to work as a collaborative member of the TAS faculty and wider school community.
  • Excellent classroom teaching practice and the ability to develop, implement and evaluate differentiated programs, resources and assessments that build a culture of high expectations
  • Proven ability to integrate best practice literacy, numeracy and technology strategies to extend and engage student learning in TAS areas of curriculum
