- An understanding of children and their needs, and an interest in the education and care industry
- Ability to successfully enrol and complete a Diploma of Education and Care
- Working with Children Check Clearance (or ability to obtain before starting)
- Ability to maintain a satisfactory Criminal Records Check
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- This is a temporary traineeship. This position will last 3 years (with the option to be signed off earlier pending completion of your course and meeting practical requirements).

About the role
This role is designed to undertake training through a Traineeship agreement, and work with a team to assist in the provision of a safe, stimulating, healthy and caring education and care service which fosters and maximizes each child's individual development potential. You will do this by working with a team in the provision of an education and care service in line with the approved plan. You will also be enrolled and must complete a Diploma of Education and Care over the course of two years.
These positions will either be based at Spring Street, Yarrawong or Courallie Park Preschool and Early Education Centres.
