About the role
The NSW Department of Education has an exciting ongoing opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to join the Attraction and Engagement Programs team as a Branding and Promotions Manager who will:

  • Lead the strategic development and delivery of key department content and campaigns across Teach NSW channels and platforms including website, social media, creative design, video, and emerging digital channels.

About you

  • Extensive relevant experience in designing and delivering strategic attraction and external recruitment programs.
  • Extensive experience in social campaign optimisation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient collaboration capabilities and skills in maintaining relationships within and across teams.

Key Knowledge and Experience


Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.


Essential requirements of the role

  • Tertiary qualifications and relevant experience in Education, Business, Marketing, PR, Communications or related discipline.
  • Knowledge of and experience in campaign delivery, project management, relationship management, business partnering, event management and public relations with the ability to effectively develop relationships and drive organisational outcomes.
  • Currently hold or be willing to obtain a valid clearance to work with Children (Working with Children Check).
  • Willingness and ability to undertake interstate and intrastate travel to meet delivery requirements of projects.
  • Hold a valid driver's licence (provisional or above).
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
