The Role
The marketing automation manager is responsible for designing and building integrated marketing solutions that drive growth for Seequent. You need to think strategically, understanding the goals of marketers and the business, while being able to dig into the technical elements to achieve this (exp. building out a chat bot conversation, designing and building a lead nurture program, integrating an event management platform into our MAP).

You will work closely with immediate team members to drive world-class growth marketing and more broadly across the marketing teams, experience design, web strategy and wider Seequent teams.

It's the ownership of marketing automation platforms to drive customer acquisition, solution adoption and customer retention.

With a strong understanding of marketing technology and best practices, you'll help turn business requirements into reality, so all teams have the technology and insights they need to continuously improve customer acquisition and customer experience.


This is a permanent full-time role based in Sydney, working for Bentley Australia.

A day in the life.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Ensure seamless integration between Marketo and Salesforce CRM, optimising data flow and workflows to efficiently coordinate marketing activities and leverage the contact database.
  • Formulate comprehensive advertising strategies and campaigns that align with sales objectives through effective planning and organizational skills.
  • Employ data analysis to gain insights into consumer behaviour, preferences, and trends, enabling informed decisionmaking and staying ahead of market demands.
  • Conduct extensive research to uncover potential market opportunities, collect statistical information, and evaluate demand and market characteristics for both new and existing products and services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop integrated multiplatform engagement strategies that drive growth within specific target segments, regions, and product lines.
  • Provide expert guidance on advertising tactics and strategies that effectively target desired markets, enhance consumer awareness, and highlight the unique features of goods and services.
  • Design and deliver a comprehensive training program to educate marketing colleagues on leveraging growth technology, encompassing campaign design considerations, program analysis, and achieving goals within marketing automation tools.
  • Oversee the generation of monthly and quarterly reports and dashboards in collaboration with the growth team, evaluating data quality, assessing campaign performance, measuring program effectiveness, analysing pipeline performance, and calculating marketing ROI.

A bit about you.

This role could be a good fit for you if you have:

  • 5+ years in a marketing automation role, with previous experience designing and deploying digital campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience and competency using enterprise Marketing Automation platform, Marketo
  • Experience or knowledge of other platforms in our stack (Salesforce CRM, Intercom, Outreach, Sprout Social, GotoWebinar, Segment)
  • Ability to understand our products, markets, customers, and competitors and what drives their behaviours
  • Experience collaborating with other team members and be able to provide support, coaching and training
  • Collaborative selfstarter who is very handson, goalorientated with strong communication skills and a high attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, be highly effective at developing strong credibility and working relationships with the ability to receive feedback from diverse sources and to grow personally and professionally from it
