Our Opportunity

To support our ongoing growth, our Weldlok team are seeking a Despatch Coordinator to oversee key responsibilities of the despatch team, with a focus on process improvement.

This position is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Yagoona, NSW.

Daily duties may include:

Supervise and delegate daily tasks to the despatch team while working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure Delivery In Full, On Time is met.
Scheduling transport for deliveries and pickups, while maintaining strong communication with all necessary stakeholders of any changes or updates.
Maintaining working relationships with customers by providing regular updates and additional customer support where needed.
Take responsibility for process improvement initiatives. This may include creating more efficient workshop layouts or making changes to stock management systems.
Train team members
Operate various pieces of equipment to complete your duties, including Bendi, Pellitizer, Dolly Loader, Pallet Wrapper, Forklift and Electrical Pallet Jacks.

The Right Person
To be considered for this opportunity, the right person will have:

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar despatch/warehousing or customer service position.
Proven experience in a stores position within mining, manufacturing or materials handling business is ideal.
Certificate III in Warehouse Logistics or similar qualifications would be highly advantageous.
Previous experience with various tools and equipment, including Bendi, Pellitizer, Dolly Loader, Pallet Wrapper, Forklift, Electrical Pallet Jacks and general power tools.
Valid Driver's License and Forklift License are essential.
