Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced
HSE Advisor
.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Ensuring all health and safety policies and systems are fit for purpose, compliant and according to the overall objectives of the organisation
- Ensuring company continues to meet or exceed the certification/accreditation requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AS/NZS 480
- Ensuring all HSE systems and processes are appropriately documented, implemented and communicated
- Carry out workplace inspections, audits and internal site compliance audits.
- Complete all required internal and external reporting when needed
- Investigate incidents and events and complete reporting within required time frames.
- Follow all PPE requirements, lead by example and provide training where required on any PPE or policies existing and new.
- Build, develop and maintain strong working relationships with the Client/Principal Contractor at all times
Requirements:
- Previous mining/construction site based experience
- Cert IV in Workplace Health & Safety
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- MS Word and MS Excel
- Ability to communicate assertively and effectively with management, trades staff and client representatives
