Mechanical Fitter
Rate - Competitive rates Based on experience

• Weekly Hours: A range of hours on offer
• Location: NOR & SOR locations near Residential suburbs
• Competitive rates High fixed rates & Some with Penalties

Role Duties include:

• Producing machines and equipment by assembling metal parts and sub-assemblies.
• Use precision measuring instruments to determine the accuracy, clearance and fit of assembled and fabricated metal parts.
• Operating equipment and carrying out all work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Diagnosing faults where required
• A strong commitment to HSE and QA as a priority, and the ability to work unsupervised and function well within a team environment.
• Preferred experience in mining fixed plant equipment - workshop based.
• Hydraulic experience - HIGHLY REGARDED
• Drill rigs & rods experience - HIGHLY REGARDED

Requirements:

• AU/NZ trade certificate.
• Able to pass a Medical and DAS
• Forklift Ticket highly regarded.
• Full Australian Working Rights
