The Role

Reporting to the Program Management Office Director, you will lead a small team to coordinate the program-level functions of the IAMD Program including communication, governance, finance and capability risk management.


Expected Duties:

  • Provide leadership and management of a multidisciplined team including finance and administrative support personnel, and temporary graduate placements;
  • Provide management of Program governance;
  • Procurement and contract management;
  • Assist in planning and management of Program activities including schedule, risk, budget and resources, in accordance with organisational practices, methods and standards;
  • Interpret and analyse Program performance against agreed plans, manuals and Directives;
  • Develop and evaluate program strategies to achieve required outcomes;
  • Prepare correspondence, briefs, reports, talking points and submissions for stakeholder consideration;
  • Build and sustain stakeholder relationships and manage engagement plans; and
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks.

About our Team
The Integrated Air and Missile Defence (IAMD) Program is one of the Capability Programs established within Defence.

This program will deliver a range of new capabilities that enable situational awareness, command & control, and responses to mitigate air and missile threats to ADF forces and broader national interests.


The IAMD Program Management Office (PgMO) is a multi-disciplined team of APS, ADF and contractor staff working collectively to coordinate and support capability management with Multi-Domain Program stakeholders in support of Government requirements.

This is a well skilled and motivated team dedicated to continuous improvement and the provision of tailored technical, S&T, conceptual and administrative support to the Program Sponsor.
