We are seeking a motivated & mature individual to join our Accounts team as our
Accounts Officer.

The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for the accounts receivable function ensuring correct processes are followed.

You will be working closely with the rest of the team to ensure the efficient running of Procare's Accounts division.


Day to day duties in your new role:

  • Generating and sending remittance advice;
  • Preparing cheques for payment;
  • Filing and maintaining supplier records;
  • Invoicing support including, entering invoices into the accounts payable system, checking and verifying invoices, and payment follow up by liaising with relevant parties and recording contact made;
  • Making relevant queries on invoices or accounts with internal and external parties;
  • Coordinating online or phone payments as required;
  • Other ad hoc tasks as required.

Ideal attributes you will have should include:

  • Demonstrated accounts experience required;
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem solving;
  • Matureminded and ability to work independently;
  • Team attitude & positive approach;
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
  • An ability to accept and drive accountability for yourself;
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office programs, specifically MS Excel.
  • Experience with Xero and MYOB preferable.
  • Experience working for a large organisation would be a plus.
