THE COMPANY
This organisation is owned by the Victorian Government.

They manage the major water, sewerage and drainage networks across Greater Melbourne, together with your local water company and council.

THE ROLE
Reporting in to the HR Manager, this role will see you working predominately on HR projects. If there is a lull on projects, you will support at an advisory level.

You will work with business leaders and the executive team daily, and will be joining a dedicated HR team of 6.


Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for MW People Services Projects, including acting as conduit between internal and external business stakeholders;
  • Manage the implementation of People Operational Services enhancements to improve practices, processes, efficiency and the user experience. Lead and support project execution from solution design through to golive and beyond;
  • Work with the People Services Leadership Team to identify continuous improvement opportunities and ensure all core People Services processes & procedures are repeatable, scalable and measurable with a strong focus on enduser experience;
  • Ensure documented management and control procedures are in place and regularly reviewed;
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to People Services Advisors to ensure understanding and adaption of improvements implemented;
  • Build, maintain and strengthen stakeholder relationships to ensure the ongoing delivery of exceptional People Services to required standards; and
  • Taking care of own and colleagues Health and Safety through identification and reporting of hazards and active involvement in improvement initiatives.

ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role, you will have strong Project experience with demonstrated capability in delivering defined outcomes.

In addition to thsi you will possess:

  • Significant knowledge of workplace People policies and procedures including the ability to review and develop People policies and procedures;
  • Strong operational process experience and ability to track and record activity to monitor for performance and improvement opportunities;
  • Relevant experience in Employee Relations intervention and management with demonstrated ability in supporting ER case work; and
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders where required.
