Are you looking for an opportunity to work in an exciting and varied environment, in a role and learning skills which put you on a clear career path? NEC is looking for a Proposal/Bid Specialist to join our supportive and innovative national team.

Based in Melbourne, the role's primary focus is to support the Sales Team in the preparation of responses to non-complex Requests for Proposal/Tender including:

Managing the end to end development of customer proposals
Establishing and managing schedules including governance gates
Managing and reviewing contributors' responses
Ensuring the submission is of the highest quality and places NEC in a winning position.

In addition, the Proposal Specialist will contribute to the ongoing development of a collateral library and may also work on larger strategic bids under the guidance of the Bid Manager assigned.

Experience and skills required

Strong administration and organisational skills
Ability to work with and coordinate multiple stakeholders across the organisation
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Advanced skills in the Microsoft Suite including SharePoint
Ability to work under deadline pressure and prioritise tasks, while adapting to changing priorities
Experience working as a bid writer, coordinator or similar role would be well regarded
