ABOUT OUR CLIENT AND THE ROLE


Our client is a highly successful, large scale property developer who require an experienced Accounts Officer to support the management of finances across the group of companies and relative entities.


Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, you will manage a wide range of stakeholder relationships including those with project teams internally working closely with suppliers and creditors, contractors and consultants, financiers and banking institutions.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enter all corporate and project invoices into accounting system for timely approval and payment;
  • Handle account enquiries from internal and external sources;
  • Supplier statements reconciliation and Credit card reconciliation and processing;
  • Prepare monthly invoices for all project fees and recharges;
  • Reconciliation between Corporate Accounts Receivable and Project Accounts Payables;
  • Monthly debtor reporting;
  • Monthly bank reconciliations for all entities (approx. 34+ bank accounts)

SKILLS & EXPERTISE

  • Possess a tertiary education in accounting or commerce, with 2 years' experience in similar accounts officer or accounts payable & receivable role;
  • Strong attention of detail, precision and problem solving skills
  • Be able to effectively manage multiple priorities, multiple stakeholders and varying deadlines to achieve desired outcomes in a calm and professional manner;
  • High level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise efficiently and effectively;
  • Establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ability to provide high level customer service, track and close out enquiries in a timely manner.
