Downer's Industrial and Energy team have an opportunity for a
Residential Cost Controller to join their team based
Wollongong, NSW .

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, this role will primarily be responsible for assisting with reports and cost control functions.


ABOUT YOU

  • Preparation of Valuations/Applications for Payment, Cost Reports
  • Management of subcontract and material procurement schedules
  • Assist with reconciling of budget reports
  • Check and update purchase Order values in all cost reports
  • The administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts
  • Contract administration, including change management and maintain associated registers
  • Coordinate with Accounts and Procurement team to ensure inventory stock numbers are accurately reported
  • Take responsibility for timecritical cost reporting
  • Analyse weekly Financial reports and provide insights on variances to the leadership team

To be successful you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or Extensive experience;
  • Experience in Cost Control ideally gained within the Mining Industry;
  • High attention to detail, information process and problem solving capability;
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
  • High levels of motivation and excellent time management and organisational skills; and
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to changing demands within the business.
