This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic Graduate Urban Designer or Urban Designer to join a design team based in Brisbane, recognised as industry leaders and influencers with a reputation for technical excellence, trusted advice, and strong commercial acumen.

Your Impact

  • Work with urban design colleagues, other RPS service lines and other external consultants on a range of projects
  • Prepare base information, conducting site investigations, site issues analysis and due diligence plans
  • Work with urban design colleagues on a range of masterplanning and urban design projects in both hand sketch and digital formats
  • Creatively communicate ideas, prepare visual presentations and supporting design materials
  • Perform general administrative tasks in support of the team including file management, illustration, and entry level client relationship management (new graduate)

You love to roll up your sleeves and get stuff done, you work well under pressure and to tight deadlines without compromising the quality of your work.

You're unquestionably a people person which makes you a collaborative team player and a great addition to the team.


You will also have

  • A degree in urban design, architecture, town planning or landscape architecture (or equivalent)
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Proficient skills in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
  • The ability to analyse, design and draw is essential
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high quality documentation
