    Role Overview:

    As a Bid Writer, you will play a crucial role in securing new business opportunities by developing compelling, high-quality proposals and bids. You will work closely with our sales, marketing, and technical teams to gather information and craft persuasive documents that meet our clients' needs and help us win new contracts.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Research, write, and edit proposals, bids, and tender documents in response to client requirements in a professional and timely manner.
    • Address and submit key criteria accurately, on time and innovatively
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and ensure proposal accuracy and compliance.
    • Assist in the research and development of common proposal content, case studies and project performance data reflecting types of opportunities.
    • Develop content for bid presentations and supporting documents.
    • Contribute towards establishing and standardization of new processes for cost optimisation and cycle time reduction
    • Maintain a bid library of standard content for future use.
    • Make continuous improvement to the style and content to enhance customer acceptability and experience.
    • Develop various competitive differentiation strategies and value propositions for key markets.

    Qualifications:

    • Tertiary qualifications in Journalism, Marketing Communications, or professional Writing, bids and proposals.
    • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Bid/Technical writing or similar.
    • Proven experience in bid writing, proposal development, or a related field and will to do an assessment.
    • Strong written communication and editing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and all other relevant software.
