Opportunity to assist with Darwin Defence projects in 2024
The Role
Ensure works meet client expectations and are completed to specification and quality standards
Analyze technical drawings, interpret specifications, and determine electrical components required on our marine projects
Compile and review QA/QC documentation (ITP's, RFI's etc) and associated reporting
Coordinate suppliers and subcontractors
De-conflict with various stakeholders
Plan and monitor progress, equipment, and personnel
Diagnose issues and problem solve
Track procurement activities
Program and schedule electrical and commissioning works
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements
About You
Experience in a similar role, preferably from within the construction project delivery space
Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or trade background with experience in quality management of large-scale electrical projects
Experience in HV/substations, industrial electrical installations, instrumentation, security, ICT, and controls systems
The ability to positively influence, develop, and maintain stakeholder relationships
Proven problem-solving ability and can 'think outside the box'
A genuine passion and desire for the safety of self and others
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage deadlines
