About You


As the Coordinator, Awards Management, you will provide efficient and effective post-award support for research grants and contracts to assist researchers and the University to meet obligations to external sponsors and partners.

You will be responsible for managing the endorsement and execution of grant agreements, letters of offer, and Australian Research Council (ARC) and National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Multi-Institutional Agreements (MIAs).

The Coordinator, Awards Management also supports the review and submission of ARC End of Year and Final Reports.

To be successful in this position, you'll have:

  • Extensive research administration or research funding management experience, preferably in higher education.
  • Proficiency reviewing and providing concise feedback on various funding agreements.
  • A strong ability to manage multiple projects with varying levels of complexity and meet deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, producing highquality and accurate work.
  • Creative problemsolving skills, using initiative and judgment to find practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills for advising, influencing, and negotiating with diverse stakeholders.
  • A track record of delivering highquality, customerfocused service.
  • Consistently demonstrated RMIT values and professional capability framework alignment.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification(s) or an equivalent combination of qualifications and work experience.
