australia melbourne permanent cbd/wfh hybrid | great teamAs an Informatica Cloud Platform Administrator, working for this high profile University, your primary responsibility is to oversee and manage the Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) environment.


You will play a key role in user administration, ensuring secure and efficient access to the platform working within the Data Platforms Team.


Key accountabilities

  • Administer user accounts, roles, and permissions within IICS to ensure secure and appropriate access for different stakeholders
  • Configure and optimize the IICS platform to meet performance and scalability requirements, considering the specific needs of data integration workflows
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures, including encryption, authentication, and authorization, to safeguard sensitive data within IICS
  • Establish and maintain backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures or data loss
  • Set up and manage metadata repositories within IICS, ensuring proper governance and facilitating comprehensive data lineage tracking
  • Implement effective monitoring and logging practices to track system health, identify issues proactively, and maintain an audit trail of platform activities
  • Collaborate with Informatica as a vendor, including participating in discussions regarding support, issue resolution, and new feature releases

Skills and experience

  • Proven experience administering and managing data warehouse and analytical platforms within a cloud environment
  • Indepth knowledge and handson experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, covering all aspects of administration, configuration, and optimisation
  • Expertise in implementing and maintaining security measures within IICS, including encryption, authentication, and authorization
  • Indepth understanding of data integration concepts and handson experience configuring and managing data integration workflows, mappings, and transformations within IICS
  • Ability to monitor and optimize the performance of data integration processes in IICS, identifying and addressing bottlenecks to ensure optimal throughput
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining robust backup and recovery procedures within IICS to ensure data integrity and availability
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with development teams, data engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions within the IICS environment
