ABOUT THE ROLE


We are now seeking an Administration & Operations Support Officer, responsible for the smooth running of the Head office and administrative tasks that support day-to-day operations.

The position is full-time working out of our Head Office in Seventeen Mile Rocks.


Duties of the successful applicant include:

  • Monitoring incoming calls, site visitors and contractors
  • Coordinating travel arrangements including transport, accommodation, visas, travel allowances, and reimbursements
  • Management of shared calendars, meeting room bookings, preparing meeting agendas, room or area/space setup, including relevant documents
  • Administrative tasks including requesting quotes, processing invoices, ordering stationery and supplies, managing mail (recording and distribution)
  • Management of company registers including fleet management of work vehicles, Company access and security codes, asset register etc
  • Coordination and planning of workrelated functions and events
  • Maintaining records in the Management system and other related systems in accordance with Strive policies and procedures
  • Supporting regulatory compliance through providing administrative support such as managing vehicle registrations, fire safety scheduling, etc
  • Participating in various tasks, projects, and quality improvements, as needed and assigned

Skills and Experiences:


ABOUT YOU
As well as a passion for community, you will bring the following:

  • Experience in a similar role is required
  • A high level of attention to detail and thoroughness
  • Prioritize multiple tasks of high importance and high risk
  • Ability to exercise discretion/confidentiality at all times and sensitive information appropriately
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of HR processes and procedures are highly desirable
  • Great initiative and the ability to work autonomously
  • Team player, willingness to show flexibility, and assist team as and when agreed priorities change
  • Administration or business support experience
  • Experience with accounts and reconciliation (nonessential but encouraged to apply)
  • Hold or are willing to attain a valid Blue Card (QLD WWCC) and an Australian National Police check
  • Hold a current unrestricted QLD drivers licence
