    Description

    Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for an experienced and networked NSW Wholesale Banker to join our diverse, collaborative team asDirector, Corporate Sector Coverage.

    ING Wholesale Bank Australia has ambitious growth plans and this role will focus on both managing our existing valued Client base, and new Client acquisition.

    ING Wholesale Bank clients are varied across Diversified Industrials, FMCG, Retail, Infrastructure, Construction, Food, Beverage as well as TMT/Healthcare.
    What you'll do

    Work closely with the dedicated Sector & Product teams to develop a deep understanding of client requirements and strategies with aim of maximising ING's sustainable economic relationship with its Clients.

    Work with Corporate Sector Lending and other Sector/Lending colleagues responsible for ongoing support of operational processes of the existing client portfolio, as well as the smooth and efficient onboarding of new clients.

    Work with other coverage and product teams outside Australia to promote inbound and outbound activities in accordance with ING strategy.

    Establish and strengthen market presence and enhance ING Wholesales profile through effective internal and external communications.
    Origination of new transactions by drafting pitch books as well as other marketing and promotional material.
    Leverage with trust the support of ING Wholesales existing team of SME'sWhat you'll bring
    8-10 years + in a senior Corporate Client coverage environment, ideally within a full-service, multi-sector, global banking environmentProven experience in generating cross-buy opportunities across different financial and transactional products and servicesStrong organisational skills and ability to handle pressure and tight deadlinesExcellent analytical capabilities and presentation skillsSkill navigating ambiguity and complexitySelf-motivated, inclusive, collaborative with a high degree of initiativeWhat's in it for you?
