About the role
We are seeking a vlaues-driven Store Manager who will manage the retail and administrative functions of the Family Store in line with The Salvation Army (TSA) mission and values.
- Manage the daily operations of the retail section of the Family Store and ensure that it is operating at an optimum level, including; retail space preparation, stock rotation, ensuring pricing policies are adhered to, maintenance of the cleanliness of the store, point of sale service, cash register operations, customer service enquiries.
- Evidence of a strong focus and commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Adequate and accurate pricing and display of goods, and the removal and disposal of inappropriate/old stock.
- Effective marketing of goods for sale, liaising with THQ Departments resources, ensuring brand alignment.
- Ensure the correct handling of incoming and outgoing stock and rotation of stock with appropriate sales and promotions.
You will have
- An appreciation of, and the ability and willingness to promote, support and model, the values and ethos of The Salvation Army
- Demonstrated people management skills with an emphasis on volunteers and the community
- Current valid Driver's Licence
- First aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Incumbent needs to have a reasonable level of fitness in order to carry out the duties of this position
- Compulsory Code of Conduct, WHS and Bullying and Harassment training modules are completed and up to date.
