- Estimating and costing for capital projects within water-related and water infrastructure sectors, ranging from initial cost assessments to tender cost evaluations.
- Create and uphold estimating systems, processes, tools, and protocols to enhance estimate accuracy throughout project and program phases.
- Tertiary Qualification (or Diploma) in engineering, project management or a related discipline
- Demonstrated expertise in the estimation of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in cost estimation for large multidisciplinary programs of work as well as individual projects.
- Demonstrated experience in using cost estimation software products such as Expert Estimation (preferred), CATS or equivalent.
- Possession of a competency-based cost engineering certification with a relevant local or international professional organization such as ACES, AACE or equivalent is highly desirable.
- A proficient influencer and service provider who excels in meeting deadlines and delivering accurate results.

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Estimating & Scheduling this role sits within the Capital Program Management Office, within the broader Service and Asset Lifecycle portfolio. The successful candidate will provide accurate, timely, and high-quality cost estimating services to Melbourne Water capital projects.
