MAYDAY Recruitment is searching for a proactive and solutions-focused HR professional to work closely with the HR Manager, offering specialized HR assistance for a leading logistics company in Australia.

Main responsibilities include:
- Provide support and expert advice to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Respond to employee queries and request and resolve HR issues in a timely manner
- Develop T&D programs and guide managers on effective performance management for employees
- Provide support for new starters and onboarding process (i.e., HR documents, employment contracts and recruitment guide)
- Ensure compliance to labour laws and regulation
- Coordinate Employee engagement activities and events
- Managing and updating all HR related system and databases regularly
- Build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders
- Keep up to date of the recruiting policies and implement new strategies to improve employer brand
- Collaborate and provide support to external partners and HR members
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, management or similar is ideal
- At least 2 years proven experience in HR generalist role
- Knowledge and understanding of recruitment and HR practices
- Experience and understanding of Employment Relations
- Strong level of communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to make reasonable decisions
- Wellorganized with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Is innovative, looks for new ways to add value and contribute to positive change and advancement of the team
