  • Seeking a Sales Manager to manage a team of 4 area sales managers in Sydney

Responsibilities:


  • Managing and growing a large customer base of OEMs and endusers across various industries
  • Leading a team of Area Sales Managers
  • Achieving sales targets and goals in the Sydney Metro region
  • Optimizing resources within the assigned regional territory to ensure profitable sales growth
  • Lead and develop the field sales team in the provision of quality customer service and technical field sales support
  • Coach, performance manage and lead others in a sales environment
  • Develop longterm relationships with customers and suppliers and developing the business footprint in the region
  • Ensure compliance with EH&S legislation, local employment law, procedures and best practice
  • Minimum of 5 years of technical sales and Sales management experience, preferably within the manufacturing/industrial sector
  • Must have proven experience in managing and leading an external sales team
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain longterm relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering or relevant technical aptitude/skills in either Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation
  • Proven consistent sales track record with demonstrated previous achievement of KPI's and a natural instinct to strive for success and selfdevelopment.
  • Proven ability to develop, present and close large complex sales opportunities.
  • Problem solving and reasoning skills with a proactive and solution focused mindset
  • CRM system experience, administrative discipline and sales reporting skills essential
  • Welldeveloped IT skills and demonstrated computer literacy essential in MS Office programs
  • Hold a current valid New South Wales driver's license
