- Seeking a Sales Manager to manage a team of 4 area sales managers in Sydney
Responsibilities:
- Managing and growing a large customer base of OEMs and endusers across various industries
- Leading a team of Area Sales Managers
- Achieving sales targets and goals in the Sydney Metro region
- Optimizing resources within the assigned regional territory to ensure profitable sales growth
- Lead and develop the field sales team in the provision of quality customer service and technical field sales support
- Coach, performance manage and lead others in a sales environment
- Develop longterm relationships with customers and suppliers and developing the business footprint in the region
- Ensure compliance with EH&S legislation, local employment law, procedures and best practice
- Minimum of 5 years of technical sales and Sales management experience, preferably within the manufacturing/industrial sector
- Must have proven experience in managing and leading an external sales team
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to develop and maintain longterm relationships with customers and suppliers
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering or relevant technical aptitude/skills in either Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation
- Proven consistent sales track record with demonstrated previous achievement of KPI's and a natural instinct to strive for success and selfdevelopment.
- Proven ability to develop, present and close large complex sales opportunities.
- Problem solving and reasoning skills with a proactive and solution focused mindset
- CRM system experience, administrative discipline and sales reporting skills essential
- Welldeveloped IT skills and demonstrated computer literacy essential in MS Office programs
- Hold a current valid New South Wales driver's license
