Description

Humanised Group are currently partnered with a well known global IT services consultancy, looking for their next Pre-sales Solution Architect (Networks).

Responsible for providing advisory services and technical sales support throughout different sales cycles, you will act as an SME for software-defined networking (SDN) across SMB and Enterprise businesses for key customers.

Key responsibilities:

Identify and evaluate alternative architectures and the tradeoffs in cost, performance, and scalability.
Outline technical architecture descriptions across domains, functions, and industries.
Be responsible for solution design, business development, and transition of projects from presales to delivery.
Provide assistance on networking solutions, product plans and roadmaps
Manage client proof of concept initiatives.
Contribute to the development of new go to market services.

Necessary Experience:

Previous experience within a Network Engineer or Architecture role, with a flavour of presales
Previous experience across client engagement and consulting
Exposure across vendor technology
Eg. Juniper, Cisco etc.
Strong knowledge across switching, routing, SDN, wireless and datacentres
Ability to translate softwaredefined networking solutions to C-Level executives

Knowledge, skills, and attributes:

Solid knowledge of multivendor service integrations and crossfunctional software, OS's, and infrastructure designs.
Ability to maintain knowledge of trends and development in relevant technology domains (Networking, Cloud, Data Centre).
Broad knowledge and experience solutioning Software Defined Networking, network transformation, hybrid WAN, routing and switching, wireless networking, and datacentre networking.
