The opportunity:

We have partnered with Australian Digital Health Agency to recruit for a Cyber Security Analyst role based in Brisbane, Sydney or Canberra.

Due to continued demand on the digital health sector, Cyber Security is at the forefront of ensuring the privacy of all that access this vast industry is secured.

There is a permanent role available across the Cyber Security Operations team, each critical to the success of the Agency's business operations.

In this role you will be responsible for monitoring the environment to identify cyber threats and performing investigations while liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

The Australian Digital Health Agency is responsible for national digital health services and systems, with a focus on engagement, innovation and clinical quality and safety.

Senior Cyber Security Analyst (APS5)

The Senior Cyber Security Analyst will perform moderately complex work to provide security operations specialist knowledge and support, including identification, protection, detection, response, and recovery from cyber security events.

The Senior Cyber Security Analyst performs monitoring, analysis and response to security events and threats.

As a member of the Security Operations Team, the Senior Cyber Security Analyst is required to work collaboratively and develop sufficient understanding of all roles within the team to aid other functions as required.

Pool of Merit:
Applicants rated as suitable will be placed in a pool of merit that may be used to fill similar positions throughout the Agency for up to 18 months.

Standard APS total remuneration ranges (base salary + superannuation) are as outlined below.

APS5:$93,628 - $101,253

Eligibility:

Applicants must be Australian citizens to be eligible for employment at the Agency.

The preferred applicants will be required to successfully undergo a police record check and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at a specified clearance level.
