Finance Business Partner - Transformation

Reporting to the Finance Transformation Manager, as
Finance Business Partner - Transformation, you'll be responsible for supporting the Bank's Finance Transformation Function in alignment with the bank's strategy and Finance's business plan.


The key to success in this role would be to balance the business partnering with the control function of the independent Finance organisation and be able to challenge the business to achieve bold, but realistic outcomes.

**What you'll do

  • Support Transformation Office, Delivery functions, Project Owners and Finance with financial analysis and advice
  • Deliver monthend process related to the Investment portfolio
  • Manage and understand the project view in the General Ledger, communicate and escalate issues
  • Support the Finance Transformation Manager with month end analysis, benefit realisation tracking and reporting, forecast/budget process and consolidation
  • Coordinate Business case reviews between Project Owners and Finance, and challenge providing independent review of all elements of the investment ask
  • Work on projects and system implementation including streamlining the dataflow from multiple systems and automating current manual processes.
  • Work with wider Finance and Transformation PMO to improve Financial and Portfolio reporting and control
**What we're looking for?

  • The ability to collaborate with both the Financial Reporting and Financial Control teams to streamline and improve Finance processes and reporting in line with changing business requirements
  • Understanding of the Bank's business dynamics, drivers of financial outcomes and correlation and tradeoff between short term financial gains and long term strategic investment.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with all stakeholders and influence senior management
  • The ability to provide business insights, analysis and advice; clearly communicating and advising both impact upon financial performance, and providing solutionoriented options for effective business decision making
  • The ability to challenge business units and have a critical mind
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modelling with superior MS Excel skills; excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • The ability to embed a culture of process improvement and automation with a view to challenge the status quo
  • Experience delivering highquality, compliant and timely delivery of business advice products including KPI tracking, Rolling Forecast, Dynamic Plan
  • Enthusiasm to pick up and run with ad hoc projects, taking responsibility for their delivery in a professional manner
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with at least 6 years Banking/Financial Services experience
