    About the role

    If you are a motivated Small Engine Mechanic/Service Technician ready to expand your skills and take on a new challenge working with a variety of machinery then we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Bowral branch.

    We are seeking experienced and committed trade qualified mechanics: light vehicle, agricultural, plant or heavy vehicle. You will be equipped with modern tools and technology, and work with a friendly, motivated team.

    Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

    • Repairing, servicing and maintenance on machinery to meet the needs of our diverse customer base
    • Diagnosing and interpreting machine faults to get our customers back up and running
    • Managing and maintaining service records for machinery as required
    • Conduct pre-deliveries on all equipment as required
    • Providing technical advice and support to customers and other service technicians as required.

    The Ideal Candidate:

    • Relevant trade qualifications as a Light or Heavy Vehicle, Agricultural or Plant Mechanic (LV or Diesel Mechanic, Cert III)
    • Current and valid driver's licence
    • Highly organised with great attention to detail
    • Self-motivated and ability to work independently
    • Strong teamwork and communication skills
    • Ability to use computer systems.

    Desirable:

    • Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic experience is beneficial
    • Agricultural machinery servicing experience (John Deere preferred, other large brands highly advantageous)
    • Knowledge of CANBUS systems
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Forklift licence (we can help with this)
