Job Summary:

The Field Service Technician role is to support our NSW based customers involving commissioning, fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of primarily the Automated Pharmacy Dispensing products and ensure the correct operation and integration to customer systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

Ensuring that systems and maintenance schedules in designated area are maintained
Providing technical support to customers (troubleshooting in customer sites)
Machine commissioning and customer training
Support and assist with new customer installations including equipment setup and technical support for golive
Plan, schedule and communicate Preventative Maintenance visits and breakdown visits to fit in with the customers' requirements. Comply with Preventative Maintenance, service agreement and support SOP's.
Ensure there is mínimal or zero overdue Preventative Maintenance tasks by scheduling and planning assigned work.
Calendar updates are visible including scheduled work, annual leave, installations etc.
Available to work travel and work interstate as requested on short notice.
As a BD representative, exhibit professionalism always.
Maintain company confidentially in all dealings with customers and product knowledge.
Responsible for documenting all work (accurate and up to date) carried out in relation to repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, performance, and electrical safety testing.
Responsible for maintaining records in accordance with company guidelines.
Responsible for setting and agreeing individual personal objectives with your manager and actively participating in the performance appraisal of those objectives.
Working hours may vary at times due to customer demands and onsite requirements (afterhours and weekend).
Holds appropriate construction card or equivalent for site access
Completes all recalls on time, with zero overdue.
All measuring equipment calibrated prior to due by date and not used beyond to ensure accurate calibrations are carried out.

Skills and Experience:

Ability to complete technical repairs and upgrades to electromechanical equipment
Strong technical knowledge, troubleshooting, interpersonal skills, as well as time management
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with people at all levels, internally and externally
Action oriented, selfmotivated, and enthusiastic
Flexible and adaptable with capability and willingness to embrace change
Current driver's license
Experience within Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics related is sought after
Electronics/computing, Trades Certificate, engineering certificate/diploma or degree advantageous
Understanding of computers and assigned software
Computer skills including Microsoft Office Packages
Ability to complete electrical safety verification.

Hours of Work
Business operational hours are 6:00am to 7:00pm. Standard weekly working hours are
37.5 hours per week, excluding lunch breaks.

From time to time, you will also be required to work outside the operational hours and longer than standard weekly hours in order to complete the duties and responsibilities of your position and meet the Company's business commitments.

The level of your remuneration has been set after taking into consideration the additional hours you may complete from time to time.
