About the Opportunity


As an Estate Services Officer, you will be required to provide an exceptional service within our Estate Services branch by providing an administrative service to individual customers for complex trusts and estates under the incumbent's control, including the provision of advice and liaising on real estate sales, taxation matters and the collection or transfer of estate assets.

You will play an important role in driving the positive culture of the branch.


About You
You have the proven ability to communicate with a wide range of people, both verbally and in writing. You enjoy problem-solving and can effectively manage conflict situations. You have experience working within a legislative framework.

You will enjoy working independently while managing a caseload and contributing to organisational growth and development as a member of a professional team.

You will enjoy the opportunity to contribute to business improvement by identifying operational efficiencies and are keen to share knowledge and experience.

About the Business


The Public Trustee plays an important role in managing the personal, legal and financial affairs of those people in the community who lack the capacity to manage their own affairs.

The Public Trustee also provides eligible South Australians with access to Will making services, powers of attorney preparation and deceased estate and trust administration.


Special Conditions for Employment
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested.

Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.
