Our client is a leading online store that is committed to providing an extensive range product to customers across the globe.


As they continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.


As a Maintenance Planner at with our, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our facilities to the highest standards.


Your responsibilities will include:

Supervision and Leadership: Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure the team's efficiency and effectiveness.

Facility Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of the company's physical infrastructure, including offices, warehouses, and storage facilities. This involves handling tasks such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.

Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime, extend the lifespan of equipment, and optimize operational efficiency.

Emergency Response: Coordinate and respond to emergency maintenance situations promptly, ensuring the safety of employees and the preservation of company assets.

Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services when necessary, ensuring quality work and cost-effectiveness.

Inventory Management: Maintain a well-organized inventory of maintenance supplies, equipment, and tools to support efficient operations.

Documentation: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Generate reports and present maintenance updates to management.

Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with relevant safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.


Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in facility maintenance, with a demonstrated track record of progressively increasing responsibilities.
  • Trade qualifications, including facilities management qualifications or trade qualifications.
  • Previous management experience is desirable.
  • Preferred experience with Retail, Production or Ecommerce warehousing operations
  • Ability to diagnose issues, propose effective solutions, and make decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear interaction with team members, vendors, and management.
  • Exceptional organisational abilities to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and maintain documentation.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the quality of maintenance work and adherence to safety standards.
