Job Description:

OceanaGold are seeking a highly professional and motivated individual to join our Digital Technology Team. Reporting to the Manger - IT Applications. Role will provide administration, maintenance and stakeholder support for our Cognos environment and models. It includes requirements gathering, technical documentation to capture, build and deploy business models.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

Develop and enhance Cognos frameworks
Interpret systems specifications to develop, maintain and support reporting solutions.
Collaborate with IT teams on any issues involving architecture and design of data repositories, including development of new tables and Cognos frameworks.
Develops/maintains appropriate documentation on reports/dashboards/scorecards, during the development lifecycle.
Able to manage the change and release management of development, updates and upgrades.
Provide Cognos administrative support for functions such as Server configuration (architecture and design) and Security (ex. permissions for users, managing capabilities for license types).
Provide continuous improvement and collaboration with the Finance community to provide Cognos coaching and support.

Qualifications:

Experience providing advice in IBM Cognos TM1 environments as a Cognos System Administrator.
Experience in supporting reporting and planning (Budgets, Forecasts) cycles.
Background in Accounting and Finance could be an advantage.
Strong oral written and interpersonal skills for interacting and collaborating with analysts, physicians, and business staff throughout all levels of the organization; ability to clearly communicate complex business problems and technical solutions.
