About our Team

The Maritime Cross-Platform Systems Program Office (MCPSPO) located in Sydney, NSW, is responsible for the provision of seaworthy materiel in support of the Australian Defence Force.

The MCPSPO sustains complex military systems and equipment within its configuration baseline.

The SPO relies on a large industry base (in-country and overseas) for supply support, engineering support, preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on-board HMA Ships and at RAN Shore Establishments.

The team managing Naval Establishment and Waterfront Support consists of the ILS Manager, and a Technical Specialist, with some assistance from an ILS Officer, working closely together to sustain the assets within their allocation as Stock Item Owner.

Current projects involve rationalisation and codification of national assets, as well as development of future support arrangements and baselining maintenance activities.

You will be able to use your initiative to make informed decisions and solve complex problems under limited/broad direction, using available resources and shifting priorities as the demand arises.

You will have a strong ability to resolve competing priorities, and accountability to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development of team members.

Have excellent written and oral communication skills and be comfortable with networking with a variety of stakeholders.
